Although Isaacs recently moved on from the company, he certainly left his mark. He saw Arris grow from a small fi rm with approximately $200 million in sales to more than $6 billion today. An industry change that’s affecting the business is consolidation of operators and vendors, he says. “Operators in particular seem to have much more leverage over the vendor community as they continue to vertically integrate functions that used to be the primary domain of vendors. One upside is there is much closer collaboration between operators and vendors on critical initiatives.”
