Shoestring Marketing | Boingo Wireless – 29 Dive In Movie Campaign

 In an effort to create demand for its new WiFi and IPTV product on U.S. military bases, the marketing team at Boingo Broadband knew it didn’t let limited dollars get in the way of its determination to get the word out to the troops. Setting its sights on Twentynine Palms Marine Corps base outside of L.A., Boingo helped cool off marines in the sweltering desert with a pool party-themed movie night that drew hundreds of attendees and spread plenty of goodwill and word-of-mouth about Boingo products. Current customers got VIP gifts while prospects also received their own Boingo swag.
