What better way to celebrate the Big Ten Conference’s expansion and declare the net’s vision for the future than to entertain more than 1,000 NYC alumni and fans from all 14 Big Ten universities at Cipriani 42nd Street. BTN arranged appearances from 40 of the Big Ten’s biggest celebs, along with plenty of cheerleaders and mascots to boot. Outside Cipriani’s walls, BTN engaged with fans via social media, asking them to post selfies showing their Big Ten Conference pride using the hashtag #ThinkB1GNY. BTN also arranged for a B1G Night at Nationals Park in Washington D.C., and decked out the Half Street Fairgrounds. The results were more than 40 media placements and some very happy fans.
