Charged with the architecture, design and development of all of Insight’s HSD and phone products – including technology and vendor selection – Liem implemented plans and designs during Insight’s technical split from Comcast that now allow the MSO to operate a far more complex system with a greater degree of control. Also responsible for the MSO’s Wide Area Network and enterprise phone system, which he successfully split along with email, Liem’s constantly consulting with peers to stay ahead of the rapid developments related to residential/commercial HSD and phone services. He’s also an active member of SCTE and CableLabs.
