As a woman in cable and technical operations, I see big growth opportunities for women in the technology and engineering space. With the rapid the pace of innovation, women in STEM have an opportunity to lead, support or contribute to new products, architecture and tools that the help improve customer lives.
What’s the most important aspect of mentoring?
In my opinion, one of the most important elements to a strong mentoring relationship is not giving people answers. A mentor’s role is to help teach people how to think rather than telling them what to think.
Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?
A well-managed calendar–from my perspective, it isn’t as much about balance as it is about juggling, prioritizing and setting expectations.
