Among O’Sullivan’s responsibilities is oversight for developing and testing new product constructs for national deployment. She sees a correlation between diversity an innovation. “Diversity is a comprehensive aspiration that [extends] beyond the cosmetic layer—e.g., color of skin, ethnic background—to embrace an approach that includes diversity and sources of innovation, leadership and management styles that celebrates and rewards differences rather than conformity to the mainstream,” she says. O’Sullivan is also constantly fostering new relationships with outside partners. She’s mentored numerous minorities at Comcast, through NAMIC’s mentoring program, and in the Filipino community.
