Among O’Sullivan’s responsibilities is oversight for developing and testing new product constructs for national deployment. She sees a correlation between diversity an innovation. “Diversity is a comprehensive aspiration that [extends] beyond the cosmetic layer—e.g., color of skin, ethnic background—to embrace an approach that includes diversity and sources of innovation, leadership and management styles that celebrates and rewards differences rather than conformity to the mainstream,” she says. O’Sullivan is also constantly fostering new relationships with outside partners. She’s mentored numerous minorities at Comcast, through NAMIC’s mentoring program, and in the Filipino community.

Cable Tells FCC to Say No to Forced ATSC 3.0 Transition

Cable is pushing back against a broadcast proposal for a mandatory ATSC 3.0/NextGen TV transition, saying it would be costly and unwanted by consumers. NAB wants the FCC to require most stations to fully transition to ATSC 3.0 by February 2028.
