Byrd celebrates 23 years in the industry this fall, 11 of those years in the Comcast NBCU family. She was instrumental in NBCU’s acquisition of Sprout, overseeing the strategic development and negotiation of the contracts to give NBCU full ownership of the network in November 2013. Byrd’s immense knowledge in both law and in the cable industry has helped her mentor both inside and outside the office. In May 2012, the Betsy Magnus grad was awarded the “Women Achieving Award” from the Philadelphia Tribune.
