Media Event | A&E – Damien Comic-Con

A&E’s thinking-outside-the-box campaign to promote its contemporary thriller “Damien” entails having its street team interact with religious protestors marching with signs and cards that say “Jesus Saves” and “Get Out of Hell Free” at Comic-Con. The network’s posters supported the main character, who in the series must come to terms with the fact that he’s the Antichrist, creating a perfect set-up to march in opposition to the Christian activists. The stunt stood out from the large number of pack-based advertising, gaining coverage from major publications like Hollywood Reporter and the New York Times
