Elliott Trice, svp of consumer product for The Weather Company, didn’t always have his heart set on a career in product strategy and development. His first plan was to be an English professor and was well on the way to becoming the world’s leading Queer Theory scholar on 14th century medical treatises. According to Elliott, this was a “relatively simple challenge” given that there weren’t any others focusing on this field previously. Despite his extensive scholarly background, Trice once had a serious cooking accident—frying an egg—in grad school. The incident left him injured on his back for a few months, which led him to yoga for physical therapy. Elliott now practices yoga each and every day and is “happy to say he can safely fry eggs without fear.”
