The “Dukes of Hazzard’s” General Lee, Cablefax’s Amy Maclean, & her 2 kids on a summer road trip.

For summer vacation this year, Cablefax Editor in Chief Amy Maclean wanted her 8-year-old and 3-year-old to experience the epic road trips of her youth. They drove from Maryland to Fort Worth, Texas, with several stops along the way.

“We saw everything from the National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis to a rodeo at the Fort Worth Stockyards to “The Dukes of Hazzard’s” General Lee in Nashville (see pic above). The journey took more than 20 hours each way.

“They did pretty well, but thank goodness for portable DVD players.”
