Google Fiber has been all about gigabit speeds. Faster is better, right? Well, for April Fool’s Day, the company decided to (fake) launch a “Dial-Up Mode.” Remember that lovely sound? Reminds us of a fax machine… They’re saying it’s a way for you to “get your time back.” Meaning, more family time, more call to Grandma, and lots more hugs.
