WooshCom has announced its first product in a family of new products designed to ease the interfacing of legacy ASI receivers to Gigabit Ethernet devices in the cable TV headend. The MPA-1171 is designed to convert an MPEG transport stream from a single DVB-ASI input into a Gigabit Ethernet output, and the MPA-3071 likewise converts a single DHEI input port.
