Videotron will provide Tru2Way services in Canada, using enabled set-top boxes from Samsung Electronics. The companies have announced a letter of agreement, allowing Videotron to provide interactive entertainment services along with high-definition, multi-room, digital video recorder (DVR) solutions.

The core software technology underlying the Tru2Way platform is a Sun Microsystems Java-based system.
