A company blog written by Rob Wong, director/Product Management at Hulu, last night revealed the content provider’s Hulu Plus service now can be accessed on TiVo Premiere boxes.

“I love delivering good news. And because of our world-class builders here at Hulu, I’m lucky I get to do it often,” Wong wrote. “We’re obsessed with our goal to get Hulu Plus on every Internet-connected device out there. And I’m pleased to announce that today we just got another step closer.”

As things stand now, TiVo Premiere users can have access to Hulu Plus for an extra $7.99 a month. However, from now until Aug. 30, TiVo is offering a six-month free trial to those who purchase a TiVo Premiere box either from a retailer or via Tivo.com. TiVo subs who already subscribe to Hulu Plus of course pay no extra fees.
