TiVo and hhgregg, an Indianapolis-based appliance and electronics retailer, announced TiVo Premiere and TiVo Premiere XL boxes are available for purchase at hhgregg stores and shipping from hhgregg.com starting today.

TiVo Premiere and TiVo Premiere XL combine access to cable programming, movies, Web content, and music into one box on an HD interface.

hhgregg will now offer TiVo Premiere and Premiere XL in its 157 stores across 15 states

This summer, several new features will activate in TiVo Premiere, including:

  • Social Web on TV – The new FrameChannel application offers users access to nearly 1,000 content widgets of personal and commercial content, like Twitter, Facebook, local news and weather, stocks and photos.
  • Favorite Music – In the near future, Premiere, TiVo Series3 and HD DVR customers will be able to listen to their personalized Pandora radio stations.
  • QWERTY Remote – Customers will also soon have access to the slide-out QWERTY TiVo remote. The compact peanut-shaped remote gives an enhanced experience, especially when using text entry when searching.
