— Tipping their hands regarding the upcoming Interop Las Vegas show next month, intelligent-network-adapter maker Napatech and Procera Networks Inc. will debut a 40 Gbps Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) platform that can be used by OEM vendors to build flexible, application-aware, network traffic capture, inspection and analysis appliances based on standard servers. The demonstration at Interop will showcase Procera Networks’ OEM DPI software engine integrated with Napatech’s high-speed network adapter, capable of 40 Gbps application recognition using eight cores on a standard multicore server. Napatech claims its adapters can guarantee that every packet will be captured for analysis up to 40 Gbps.

The “pay as you go” plan offers an average 40-percent savings against traditional ways of working, BT adds, allowing customers to align costs directly to their business needs. Its cloud infrastructure uses industry-standard secure data centers located in Brazil, Colombia, the United States, U.K., Spain, Benelux, France, Italy, Singapore and Hong Kong; Germany, China, India, Argentina and Mexico will be added soon.
