— The AirMagnet Survey PRO from Fluke Networks offers pre-configured profiles that use real-world wireless data to help wireless engineers determine whether or not a proposed network adheres to Cisco‘s best practices for deploying Cisco Location Services.  According to the company, such information can help eliminate post-deployment redesigns. For Cisco Location Services to work optimally, Fluke says such guidelines as access point placement, access point separation distance, minimum signal level thresholds, preparedness for voice and data coexistence, and others need to be followed. Thus, the variance between simulated and real-world data can help determine readiness for the service.
