Mag Rack honcho Dan Ronayne isn’t sweating the news that Howard Stern is headed to SVOD via In Demand. Instead, he’s hoping Mag Rack’s upcoming 20-part VOD series "Mama Gena’s School of Womanly Arts" (debuted yesterday) will offer the women of the house their own fun when their men turn to Stern. But will he be clicking on to Stern himself? "Probably yes… for competitive research, of course!" In Demand and Stern finally confirmed their 3-year deal to offer the shock jock’s radio show this week (Cfax, 8/1), with Comcast, Time Warner and Cox all planning to make the package available to their operating systems when it debuts later this year. Decency Doings: Anyone visiting the Howard Stern On Demand Web site (http://www.indemand.com/HSOD) will notice that the "Cable Puts You in Control" logo is prominently displayed. A FAQ explains that parental control features allow subs to limit who can access the programming.
