Showtime erected a large "L Word" billboard in Brooklyn’s progressive Park Slope neighborhood, featuring the cast in the altogether over the tag line "Venus Envy." It’s smart marketing, given the demo of the area and the arresting features of the actresses, but we had to wonder if it hadn’t caused a few fender benders, given its placement on a heavily traveled stretch of road. "I gotta get cable."
