Rogers On Demand Online Beta has quickly become a hot Web destination for hundreds of thousands of Canadians, according to the provider.

In December 2009, the site saw 1.8 million page views. More than 46,000 Canadians have registered at www.rogersondemand.com.

Rogers On Demand Online Beta is available free to all Rogers cable, wireless, Internet and home phone subscribers from any streaming Internet connection across Canada,

"Given the great feedback we’ve been receiving, Rogers will be unveiling new features and functionality including live streaming, social networking and wireless access features in the near future," said David Purdy, VP, video product management with Rogers, in a statement.
