Color IPTV, a provider of broadband video services in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, has deployed RGB Networks’ Broadcast Network Processor (BNP) as the heart of its video delivery network serving its 12,000 subscribers.

Color IPTV is utilizing the core transrating, multiplexing and digital ad insertion functions of the BNP, with the option to add digital overlay capabilities in the future with a licensing upgrade. The company plans to deliver more SD and HD programming and implement advanced advertising solutions across all channels. Data Plus-M, RGB’s reseller in Russia, played a significant role in the deployment.
