RGB Networks intends to show off its multi-screen video capabilities at the ANGA conference, May 3-5, in Cologne, Germany.

Its demonstrations will highlight RGB’s Video Multiprocessing Gateway (VMG) and TransAct Packager. RGB will also show the VMG’s multi-screen ad insertion capabilities.

Working in conjunction with the VMG, TransAct Packager produces segmented output in Apple HTTP Live Streaming, Microsoft Smooth Streaming and Adobe HTTP Dynamic Streaming formats for delivery to IP-based devices. Through the utilization of this hardware- or software-based solution, video service providers can ensure that their network delivery infrastructures are capable of taking premium video content of all formats – whether from live streams or file sources – and ‘packaging’ it to content delivery networks (CDN), origin servers, and end-user devices. Additionally, TransAct Packager encrypts content by integrating key exchanges with leading Digital Rights Management (DRM) servers.
