Resource Nation, an online company connecting business buyers with sellers in over 100 categories has acquired VoIPService.com, which allows consumers in search of business or residential VoIP services to compare hundreds of service providers based on cost, features offered, geographic location and other requirements.

VoIP consumers can get facts on multiple service offerings side-by-side. Informational articles about VoIP equipment, connection speeds and residential VoIP service plans are also available on the site.

According to AMI research, almost 20 percent of small businesses and 60 percent of medium-sized businesses are predicted to use VoIP by 2012. Households are also making the switch: it is predicted that almost 38 percent of broadband households worldwide will subscribe to VoIP services by 2011, according to In-Stat.
