Good news for cable. DVR users watch more VOD (free and paid) than non-DVR users, Lyra Research says. In the past 30 days, DVR users watched an avg of 10.9 free VOD programs and 2.7 paid vs 7.1 and 1.6, respectively, for non-DVR users. The survey included about 250 cable VOD HHs and was conducted in April and May.
