It will begin running the series in Jan. — FOX News re-signed "Fox Report" anchor Shepard Smith to a 4-yr deal. Smith’s show has led the 7pm timeslot for 32 straight months. — Former Motley Crue shrieker Vince Neil is getting a full-body makeover for a new MTV reality show. "The Remaking of Vince Neil" will attempt to make the hard-living rocker a little more buff and a lot more sober, in a bid to rejuvenate his flagging career, The Las Vegas Review Journal reports. — Glad to see The Weather Channel’s "Storm Stories" doing a special D-Day edition (Sat, 8pm); the tales of individuals Weather will show are a good complement to the role of weather seen in A&E’s "Ike." — IFC Films and Lions Gate will distribute controversial Michael Moore doc "Fahrenheit 9/11," which was held up by Disney because of its critical assessment of the Bush administration and its relationship with the House of Saud. Showtime scarfed up pay TV rights. The film hits theaters June 25. — GSN premieres "Greek Games" July 6, 11pm, with 4 fictional fraternities/sororities competing for a trip to the Greek island of Mykonos. — Fuse’s "Uranium" tomorrow begins a series of backstage looks at heavy metal bands on tour this summer (8pm). — Lifetime named "Country Kitchen" talent Donna Britt host of "Lifetime Radio for Women. " — E! Networks expands its brand by making E! and Style franchises available for licensing at Licensing Show ’04. The brands will include "The E! True Hollywood Story," which will target products ranging from fashion apparel to house wares and stationery. (C’mon, now, no jokes about a Mindy Herman line of boxing gloves.)
