MEF, the global community for mobile content and commerce, has announced the results of its 2012 North and Latin America board elections: Filipe Roup Rosa (Boku) and André Andrade (Titans Group) join the 10 incumbent members of MEF LatAm Board currently serving a two-year regional board term. In addition, eight new directors were elected to the MEF North America board: Scott Gamble (Alliance Data), Gary Schwartz (Impact Mobile), Fiona Gellatly (Incomm), Brendan Eich (Mozilla),  Ron Czerny (Playphone), Jonathan E. Stern (Red Bull Media House), Kevin Morrow (Samsung Media Solutions Centre) and Todd Daubert (SNR Denton). Czerny, who previously chaired MEF’s LatAm Chapter, was elected North America chair, while Rosa was elected as MEF LatAm chair. Former MEF North America Chair Gary Schwartz was re-elected to the regional board and will take up the role of special representative to MEF Global to drive m-commerce and growth initiatives.
