Birck announced he will retire from the company after next spring’s annual meeting due to a recent diagnosis of chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML), a treatable but incurable disease for which he is in therapy…Vahid Manian is the new senior vice president/Global Operations at Entropic Communications, in charge of the company’s worldwide technical and supply management operations. He previously ran all operations activity at Telegent Systems, a supplier of silicon solutions for mobile-TV applications, later acquired by Spreadtrum Communication…Todd F. Brown, PMP, has joined yap.TV as chief revenue officer and executive vice president/Business Development. Brown recently was vice president at NBC Universal, Comcast.
