Millicom International Cellular S.A., headquartered in Sweden, appointed Hans-Holger Albrecht president/CEO, effective Oct. 31, succeeding Mikael Grahne, who will be stepping down. Albrecht currently is president/CEO of international entertainment/broadcasting concern Modern Times Group MTG AB; he will join Millicom Sept. 16. He’s also been a member of Millicom’s board for the past two years, but he has resigned from this role.
