Two changes at Corning: Clark S. Kinlin moves up to executive vice president at Corning Telecommunications business group, effective Aug. 1. He will continue his day-to-day management of Corning Cable Systems, where he serves as president/COO. Martin J. Curran is the new senior vice president and innovation officer at the company, a new position that kicks in Aug. 1. Curran, who had been senior vice president/GM at Corning Optical Fiber, will lead an entrepreneurial-focused organization that will operate across all business segments to identify and develop near-term revenue opportunities, including streamlining the innovation process, and creating faster product development and speed-to-market.
