PBN unveiled its ODN-RFoG at Cable-Tec Expo last week. An optical distribution node for RFoG, it forms part of PBN’s Light Link Series 2 suite of products and is intended to provide a simplified alternative to building all-fiber networks. The advanced node has been designed as a prime building block for delivering cable TV with DOCSIS-based high-speed Internet services over PON compliant FTTH cable plant.
