After building up some liquid courage several CTAMers braved the mechanical bull at the (mercifully) air-conditioned indoor portion of Outdoor Channel’s country fair Tues night, rocking Summit to a close. Comcast’s Michael Snyder mounted the bull but, at the last minute, decided against it … probably figuring he’d be more valuable at home and at work intact (not to mention on stage-his Comcast band rocked valiantly at GSN’s Mon soiree touting "Ballbreakers" (Mons, 10pm), which also featured the billiards artistry and beauty of Ewa Mataya Laurance). Plenty of hard partying was done outside, as the tunes of country heartthrob Blake Shelton kept folks outside despite oppressive heat and humidity. If the music wasn’t enough, you could gape at the 10-ft-tall men walking around on stilts, talk to one of the "real" cowboys or drink.
