Thursday, June 16, at 9:00 a.m. (CDT), Oprah Winfrey will appear at The Cable Show as part of the morning’s general session. Winfrey will engage in a conversation with Paula Zahn about coming to cable and building the OWN brand.

After 25 years, Winfrey recently celebrated the last episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” and now turns her energies to OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, a joint venture between Harpo and Discovery Communications. OWN debuted on January 1 in approximately 80 million homes on what was the Discovery Health Channel.
