Openet, better known for wireless technology, today announced its official entry into the cable market after two years of behind-the-scenes work. Openet’s cable solutions consist of Audience & Engagement Measurement, Convergent Usage Measurement and Interactive Services Fulfillment.

Built upon the company’s FusionWorks product suite, the cable solutions are designed for 360-degree, real-time visibility into service usage and viewing data while providing opportunities to use that information for dynamic, targeted marketing promotions and campaigns.

The Audience & Engagement Measurement solution provides the ability to measure subscriber activities across all video services, including linear and non-linear viewing data and click-streams associated with iTV.

The Interactive Services Fulfillment solution allows operators to collect interaction information from EBIF and tru2way applications and forward the data to a fulfillment server, in order to respond to real-time subscriber requests.

Targeted for high-speed data services, the Convergent Usage Measurement solution enables service providers to capture, collect and aggregate data and voice usage, and distribute the data to downstream systems.
