Now in his 6th decade in the cable industry, Bill Bresnan has been the center of a wealth of funny and boozy stories. His roasters Tues night used most of those stories to sometimes-hilarious effect. Some of the best lines: Ralph Roberts saying Comcast [CMCSA] sold systems to Bresnan 2 years ago "to get Bill off the street….we also told him: No more jokes." Chuck Dolan on Bresnan son-in-law Brian Cashman, the Yankees’ gm: "What does it tell you about Cashman that with a choice of working for Bill and working for Steinbrenner, he chose Steinbrenner?"
