We predicted last week Comcast and Denver RSN Altitude would reach a deal before Carmelo attempted his 1st dunk vs Utah in the 1st Nuggets’ game carried by Altitude last Sat night. The deal was reached Sat night all right, but it came just as the game was ending. It guarantees Comcast’s 680K subs will see 70 Nuggets’ games, HD and VOD. The sports net was launched earlier this year after Nuggets and CO Avalanche owner Stan Kroenke ditched Fox Sports Southwest to start Altitude. It reached agreements with Dish before the season and with DirecTV Oct 29; they both carried Sat-night’s game, a loss for the Nuggets, but a win for Kroenke.
