Mapping provider Mosaik Solutions (the former American Roamer) will demo additional capabilities for MapELEMENTS along with a prototype of a mobile coverage app for its CellMaps service at this week’s International CTIA Wireless 2012 show. ? ?

MapELEMENTS now supports additional flexibility and deeper analytical value with the addition of population and area metrics, allowing its customers a clearer view of how network coverage decisions are affected by demographics using the latest U.S. Census data. Through the use of MapELEMENTS Point and Boundary Inspector introduced in February, users can leverage demographics along with network coverage intelligence to understand more about where the market opportunities are. ? ?

CellMaps, a Web-based interactive coverage mapping solution, already supports mobile browsing, but the prototype app offers CellMaps clients “more flexibility to deliver a branded mobile coverage application to its customers directly using the CellMaps platform,” Mosaik Solutions adds. “The prototype mobile coverage app utilizes additional elements of the Mosaik Solutions technology stack and associated APIs, along with leveraging Mosaik Solutions’ significant in-house creative skills.”? ?
