Team Netflix/TiVo is making strides in the EU, with Netflix this week launching an app on TiVo boxes leased by Swedish pay-TV provider Com Hem. The service will be offered alongside linear programming. It’s the 3rd such deal for Netflix, which launched on Demark’s operator Waoo following its 1st MSO deal with Virgin Media in the UK, all through TiVo platforms.

Like Netflix’s other EU deals, the offering won’t give pay-TV subs access to Netflix as part of their linear TV services, requiring subs to log in with their Netflix credentials. Netflix launched in Sweden in 2012. Netflix has been absent from US cable MSOs’ set-tops so far.
