Juggling busy days: “Planning is key for me. Things that need to get done—both personally and professionally—go on my calendar so that I actually have time set aside to get things checked off my list. Then, I recognize and accept that it’s not all going to get done all of the time. I also encourage people to be authentic and be clear about their priorities. For example, when my children were young, I left the office at a reasonable hour to spend time with my kids and would then hop back on email later that night.”
