Motorola Home & Networks Mobility business has announced the commercial availability of its Communications Convergence Engine Enhanced Asset Management System. Through advanced metadata management tools and workflow management, CCE EAMS controls the lifecycle of VOD, non-VOD content and advertising assets within the on-demand network. The software solution, which utilizes technology acquired from Leapstone in 2007, is designed to help service providers deliver on-demand services across multiple screens. In other Motorola news, the Atlantic Telephone Membership Cooperative has selected Motorola’s GPON solution for deployment in its FTTH network across greater Brunswick County, a resort area of North Carolina.
