More than 75 million broadband users now subscribe to IPTV, notes the Broadband Forum, and some 3.6 million of them signed on during 4Q12, down slightly from the previous quarter. Overall, nearly 12 percent of all broadband subscribers now take an IPTV service, up from 10.4 percent at year-end 2011. While the United States, China and France continue to hold the top three spots in IPTV globally, Korea, Russia and the Netherlands are beginning to show substantial subscriber growth.
