Nokia Siemens Networks’ hiT 70xx series multi service provisioning platform (MSPP) has been certified to transport Carrier-Ethernet-grade services. The MSPP has received Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) certification to provide MEF 9 and MEF 14 Ethernet services. The certification establishes that the hiT 70xx series is capable of transporting Carrier Ethernet services across telecom networks and is interoperable with certified equipment from other vendors. The MEF 9 and MEF 14 certifications confirm the quality and reliability of point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and multipoint-to-multipoint Ethernet services: EPL (Ethernet Private Line), EVPL (Ethernet Virtual Private Line) and E-LAN (Ethernet LAN Service).
