As part of its earnings report yesterday, SeaChange International announced some changes to its top management.

Ed Dunbar has departed as president and COO, and Yvette Kanouff has been promoted to president.

Kanouff came to SeaChange to establish the VOD business and more recently established and grew the company’s software business. In her new role, she will focus on overall product strategy, business development, product management, communications and investor relations.

Also, Erwin van Dommelen has been promoted to president of software. Van Dommelen came to SeaChange with eventIS, which was acquired by SeaChange in September 2009. (For more, click here).

In his new role he will be responsible for the entire software business including growth, profit, engineering, product roadmaps and direction, and the general management of the business unit.

In his earnings letter, Bill Styslinger, SeaChange CEO and chairman, wrote, "The future of our company is software centric; as a result we are taking various steps to position ourselves for further success in the software arena."
