Level 3 Communications has announced an operational connection in Chicago to CENX, a carrier Ethernet exchange, to simplify and expedite the delivery of its Ethernet services.

Last week, Verizon announced it was using CENX in New York. (For more, click here).

Additionally, Level 3 has validated its services to Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) 9 and 14 specifications for services delivered through CENX.
