Galavision is leaping back into original in-house series production, after 3 years of dependence on Televisa-supplied fare. 5 of 7 series introduced at parent Univision’s upfront are self-generated.Despite operator interest in ethnic VOD, Galavision, Univision and sis net Telefutura are not exploring it yet. Univision COO Ray Rodriguez says the market must mature a bit more. — As expected, plenty of questions about Univision’s relationship with Televisa, amid 2 Televisa execs resigning their Univision board seats last week. "We’ve been through these things before…it would take a catastrophic event to break (our relationship)," Rodriguez says. — GolTV will add soccer commentary show "45/45" and "FIFA’s Futbol Mundial." — Simon Applebaum
