NetX Internet provided the primary communication and Internet access for Marvel’s “The Avengers,” whose production team needed wireless broadband connectivity during film production last year when it moved to Cleveland. A 100×100 Mbps connection was provided in less than 48 hours; and overall broadband deployment covered some 200 production employees, more than 180 IP phones, and nearly 90 computers and servers outfitted for film operations. The Alvarion solution also provided backhaul capabilities for the entire network used to run film crew, production, back-office and accounting apps.
