JDSU is participating in an industry Voice over LTE (VoLTE) interoperability trial, providing its communications test expertise. The MultiService Forum (MSF) Interoperability Event, organized in partnership with the GSMA, is taking place at the China Mobile Research Institute in Beijing and Vodafone Test and Innovation Center in Dusseldorf, Germany Sept. 12-30.

JDSU’s Signaling Analyzer Real Time (SART) solution is being used to test the performance of Voice over LTE under a number of scenarios, including roaming and interconnect, self-organizing networks, and handover and relocation. JDSU is among 25 companies taking part in the event. The MSF will release the results of the VoLTE Interoperability test event in a white paper in November.
