It’s too awful to contemplate, but here goes: the traditional CTAM multi-sponsored, closing-night blowout aka ‘The Rally in the Alley’ will not be part of next month’s Summit in Philly. "Each of the networks wanted to have their own evening," CTAM vp, marketing Tania Jones tells CableWORLD. "We’ll have just as many parties, but there won’t be the party with multiple sponsors." MTV is sponsoring the Sun-night party; ESPN/ABC has Mon night, while The Outdoor Channel hosts Tues evening.
