Tomorrow, the Communications and Technology subcommittee of the House Energy and Commerce Committee will hold a “Creating Opportunities Through Improved Government Spectrum Efficiency” hearing at 10:15 a.m., to continue to examine how federal agencies and commercial wireless carriers might benefit from more efficient government use of spectrum. Witnesses include Mark Goldstein, GAO; Dr. Preston Marshall, University of Southern California Information Sciences Institute; Karl Nebbia, NTIA; Mark Racek, Ericsson; Steve Sharkey, T-Mobile USA; Douglas Smith, Oceus Networks; and Major General Robert Wheeler (USAF), U.S. Department of Defense.
