Adelphia got Bankruptcy Court approval to increase CFO Vanessa Wittman’s salary to $600K from $490K, retroactive to Jan 1, ’05. General counsel, evp Brad Sonnenberg’s salary increases to $325K from $266K. The MSO asked the court last month to increase salaries and incentives for the 2 "underpaid and overworked" execs. Additionally, Sonnenberg’s bonus potential increases to 80% from 60% of his base salary. Both he and Wittman will receive stay bonuses. Should the Time Warner-Comcast sale go through, they’ll get sale bonuses of 2x their salaries. Business Week pegged Wittman as CFO material for Viacom or Microsoft.
