Digital cable may have gotten a late start at Cablevision [CVC], but it’s become the MSO’s fastest-growing service. More than 33% of CVC’s cable subs take digital, up from 6.5% at the end of ’02. It just surpassed its 1mlnth customer. — Time Warner Cable will use SupportSoft [SPRT] software for automated customer support for its Road Runner high-speed subs. — DirecTV filed suit against O.J. Simpson last week, claiming he pirated the DBS provider’s signal. It wants $20K from the former football player. (Can’t believe this; now, if he’d played for the Buccaneers…)
